Good Morning! Sunshine! We can learn, we can change things up!

I think of how I have changed over the years. The result has been a theory on how reality works. I think that as we move through the ages and stages of lives, we collect what we feel is the best possible information, which comes from what and who we experience. The truest reality becomes “what we go with”. It is what we file away in our minds as regarding this endeavor; being the best and truest information; about whatever it is. Then there is the filing system we form. How big we make a particular “file”. Well, that has taken up much of our time. Just how big a file it is or how small a file depends on how much data we collect. It depends on much examining of the content has taken place.

And it matters too, even if we trash “it”. You see the brain is like a computer. The information we file does not really go away. It piles up high and out of sight! The more the better! Yup I can squeeze in more. De fragment it a bit more. It contains magical components too, because we can often called it up in a flash. Maybe something like stirring a huge pot over a big fire.

I think our truest reality has a very long and fat time line, which is so well fixed at the end of each age and stage that it is infinity itself. Maybe being trashed has certain conditions where sometimes things can stay trashed but I have my doubts. I envision someone with one foot in a large trash can, both hands holding it, and it is impossible to push all the trash down! In fact it is popping out like pop corn with no cover, all over the place! Lets up threatens to leak one or two more, only___ hopefully stops____ NOPE! The only way around the popcorn___I mean the past, the files that is, is to do something new! Make new files? So it seems.

Now think on this! The mind is connected to the rest of the body, and the whole body remembers the same thing the brain remembers! However it adds to these thoughts with reactions, and there go the neurons, and other chemicals saying “Yahhhhhhhhhhhhooooo-eeee! Remember those science films your teacher showed you in science or health? Ya those guys! Little cartoon like fellers and ladies that make our plumbing work! They’re a part of the reality and how we feel about what it experiences!

Now think about what you really believe, and what you really want to believe. How true to the course is this? Or do you pull files as you see fit or randomly? Has your mind become so good with what you file, that it can stack up all the pros and cons in multiple ways? Can you argue any point pretty well or exceptionally well with what you believe to be true? How about this question, and have you been wrong? What do you do about that?

Now as to how we change what we file? I am still trying to figure out how to scale things down, and live in the present. But I am trying to build something more, something better! I think that is part of it. I think that what we need to examine is how accountable we are in the end. No one else is a part of that process its about who we are. Do we trust and believe in ourselves? Do we know how to love ourselves? If we do then we know how do so for others. You can plug in a lot of different words and they can ring true in this formula. We are more alike that different.

If we want people to treat us in a certain way, should we not carry ourselves in a certain way too and be true to it. And should we not work to make allowances where people can have time to learn, we are not on the same lily pad at the same time. At the same time we should not have to wait forever for change when something hurts and angers us, and that is where boundaries come into play. Good anger is where you say what you must and then, then let go of it, and leave the work up to the person who should be doing it. Good anger does not seek to destroy people, what people have, and who someone is! Two wrongs do not make a right!

There are no instructions on us anywhere! We are complex, and life is complex. We measure our lives by the use of time, and now we have painted ourselves in a corner as if we have no time, and as if we can’t just say fuck it and walk across the paint! Let’s think on how we can live differently. And learn where to set the old files. Let us find a new reality for ourselves, and it will leak over and affect others.

I live in Southern Maine. I am the owner of Anisette Studios. My website is https://www.anisettestudios.com/ Here you can view and purchase Shibui, sign up for my newsletters, blog, and read articles about Shibui Found Image Art. Patrons get great deals several times a year and special items at times. My site makes it easy to contact me. My primary art form is Shibui Found Image Art. Shibui begins with action art and stems from the imagination. It is like seeing something in the clouds or solving a puzzle. Its creative process has its own rules and requires what I call reverse engineering due to a lack of an understructure and purely out of the imagination. In addition to those who patron me, my target groups are those who use art therapy. I will soon be teaching live. Contact me if you would like to learn live. I use Zoom. I request that although my art, other images, and what I write is now published by me here on WordPress; I do ask you do not to use my artwork, poetry, or the information about Shibui Found Image Art without my permission. I am quite available to make such requests. I wish to share the following: The existentialist philosopher Simone de Beauvoir wrote a book called The Ethics of Ambiguity. In it, she lays out a guiding ethic in response to the philosophy of existentialism. It might be somewhat familiar to you already. She writes, “To will oneself free is also to will others free. This will is not an abstract formula. It points out to each person concrete action to be achieved.” Best wishes to all! Have good times and keep safe! Pejj
