New pathways mean new adventures! Just thinking about this thought feels exciting! I did not ever expect to feel any excitement again after losing Thomas! But it is because of how much Thomas loved me that I can step forward toward these new paths! He is always in my head and heart; entangled in a different way. I have truly been well-loved, and that is the most extraordinary and wonderful gift. Thomas is always there in the background as I look ahead.
I can hear his words as he encourages me, applauding me as he ensures me. “You got this!” “You’re the engineer!”
The new path I had envisioned was with Thomas at my side, both of us being artists. Both of us listening to the myriad of Jazz CDs. Our reading the books we had together, delicious romantic meals with wine_____.
Just how new paths will change my life I do not know. I know one thing letting go of the past and feeling so happy inside has made such a difference. Learning not to allow the triggers of the past into my thinking. A thought is just that! A thought that I do not have to spend time on. I do not have to figure anything out. Just be present. Change my thoughts by bringing in new thoughts. Mentally and physically embracing the new. It is all how we look at it, whatever it is!
Doing things I have never done before according to how I can do these new things! This is my new plan.
How I become, will influence others. It will encourage them to try their own new paths and to live differently_____.

In it, she lays out a guiding ethic in response to the philosophy of existentialism. It might be somewhat familiar to you already. She writes, “To will oneself free is also to will others free. This will is not an abstract formula. It points out to each person concrete action to be achieved.”
