With this foundation I experiemented by layering the action art. I began with the lightest watercolor tints on dry Rives BFK printmaking paper. Blend in yellow, blue and a slight bit of pink.
The next step was the blue gray tint. After this dried the green, brown and gray of the forground.
I began to work painting the white flowers with a brush and worked to find the edges of events with the micron pen.
If I work the bottom of the plants with darker colors this would firmly “plant” them. I think outling the foreground will anchor it for the viewer.
I like the light gray ghoast images in the background!

In it, she lays out a guiding ethic in response to the philosophy of existentialism. It might be somewhat familiar to you already. She writes, “To will oneself free is also to will others free. This will is not an abstract formula. It points out to each person concrete action to be achieved.”
