Good Morning Sunshine!

Good Morning! Coffee on the right! Accompanied with two pieces of raisin bread. Raisin bread is always good. It is a quiet morning. Cool in the house, so a cozy sweater feels good. I think I will begin by reading, some research. I will give myself a day before reading and going over what I have written so far in the manual.

The mail carrier has brought me a letter from Switzerland! My pen pal Sean, who is Irish. Nice and fat! Full of history and other stuff! Written on handmade paper! Written by dip pen or fountain pen. Answering him will be an excellent way to take a break from working on the manual. I’ll write him and tell him some of Maine’s history, and about the type of trees here. Perhaps some more of the wildlife in my backyard.

The world is full of changes. Another friend was feeling sad that where she grew up, was not as friendly as it once was. That you heard of theft, and other such goings-on that did to happen when she was a kid. This is sad, and I wonder what will affect such things, that would make them at least rare.

Well, it has been a while since opening a book of Joyce Hifler’s. It always seems to open on something I need as a reminder. My eyes fell on this: “We are so appalled at each other’s ignorance. We are so disbelieving that our own ignorance could be as profound as another’s and we stand in wonder as to why he can’t see it. Yes, we do expect others to “get how we are or what we mean” yet we failed to really get others. Will Rogers said something along the lines of “W are all ignorant but just on different subjects.”How true!

I must need a break today, so I will follow my soul’s lead and pick up “Inkheart” to read something different and to go to another world with a range of characters in it! Merlock can lay beside me and snore his peacefulness. It feels like I need a weekend kind of day. It after all Saturday!

I get this look when I am supposed to walk him to his food dish in case you can see the bottom.

I live in Southern Maine. I am the owner of Anisette Studios. My website is https://www.anisettestudios.com/ Here you can view and purchase Shibui, sign up for my newsletters, blog, and read articles about Shibui Found Image Art. Patrons get great deals several times a year and special items at times. My site makes it easy to contact me. My primary art form is Shibui Found Image Art. Shibui begins with action art and stems from the imagination. It is like seeing something in the clouds or solving a puzzle. Its creative process has its own rules and requires what I call reverse engineering due to a lack of an understructure and purely out of the imagination. In addition to those who patron me, my target groups are those who use art therapy. I will soon be teaching live. Contact me if you would like to learn live. I use Zoom. I request that although my art, other images, and what I write is now published by me here on WordPress; I do ask you do not to use my artwork, poetry, or the information about Shibui Found Image Art without my permission. I am quite available to make such requests. I wish to share the following: The existentialist philosopher Simone de Beauvoir wrote a book called The Ethics of Ambiguity. In it, she lays out a guiding ethic in response to the philosophy of existentialism. It might be somewhat familiar to you already. She writes, “To will oneself free is also to will others free. This will is not an abstract formula. It points out to each person concrete action to be achieved.” Best wishes to all! Have good times and keep safe! Pejj
