Good Morning Sunshine!

Coffe at the right! I am up and ready for the day! I have satisfied the cat with a new dish, and some kitty cat food. He is now perched to observe my every move, perhaps to cat nap contently. My forever shadow! I wrote pen pals last night, now to go back to other reading and writing. Writing is very satisfactory when you conclude you have done a good job at it. Like art, you just keep perfecting it.

The day is chilly, it seems we may get a peak of sun at some point. This seems to happen after 10:00, sometimes noontime.

My newest twist is to write about how to express the potential of Shibui Found Image Art as a revenue stream for those who wish to instruct in it. This means certification for basic skills, then an intermediate level for instructors. How it can work as a practicum with residency. This means working with local individuals who wish to be instructors. This can’t happen until the instructional book is done, and classes can be created. However, working out how it would happen has come to mind. And with more than one instructor in the area, this would benefit more people. And, it would require being established with a portfolio, and they’re being set up, confident in what they are doing that they are ready to court facilities and hold classes as instructors. Writing this plan out will be something to be finessed later. Once this is worked out it can be a model for others to use building their own brand of Shibui, and how they wish to instruct in it.

There are a couple things, those wishing to be Shibuiest have to do is to learn the business end of art. I will talk about this, but they will have to put the effort in on learning it, according to what they do. This is what I have learned about what I need to do. It would be the basic concepts I can teach, Portfolio and resume building would be a part of the intermediate level of certification.

This is quite the project. I feel so strongly that artists can do more with what they do. Our world needs to see the importance of the creative mind. We sorely need to heal the world we live in. Art has always been a part of moving forward, writers too! We have a very important role to play. we need ideas that can infuse the world. That we can live life in new ways. Where are the inventors among us? Things begin with just a single idea. Things happen when you start being loud about those ideas. Someone else comes along and says “Hey! Ya! We just can’t be afraid to do things because someone else might just like the idea too. We are in this life together.

I live in Southern Maine. I am the owner of Anisette Studios. My website is https://www.anisettestudios.com/ Here you can view and purchase Shibui, sign up for my newsletters, blog, and read articles about Shibui Found Image Art. Patrons get great deals several times a year and special items at times. My site makes it easy to contact me. My primary art form is Shibui Found Image Art. Shibui begins with action art and stems from the imagination. It is like seeing something in the clouds or solving a puzzle. Its creative process has its own rules and requires what I call reverse engineering due to a lack of an understructure and purely out of the imagination. In addition to those who patron me, my target groups are those who use art therapy. I will soon be teaching live. Contact me if you would like to learn live. I use Zoom. I request that although my art, other images, and what I write is now published by me here on WordPress; I do ask you do not to use my artwork, poetry, or the information about Shibui Found Image Art without my permission. I am quite available to make such requests. I wish to share the following: The existentialist philosopher Simone de Beauvoir wrote a book called The Ethics of Ambiguity. In it, she lays out a guiding ethic in response to the philosophy of existentialism. It might be somewhat familiar to you already. She writes, “To will oneself free is also to will others free. This will is not an abstract formula. It points out to each person concrete action to be achieved.” Best wishes to all! Have good times and keep safe! Pejj
