I feel “in my element” when I write or create Shibui or research. I think we all come into our elements. I love coming to realizations when there are pivotal moments, and I make discoveries. I love developing ideas. The more you develop your ideas the more questions you have. The more there is to discover.
I love the idea of offering up what I know and passing it on to others.
At some point, it will generate revenue. A lot will begin to happen once the instructional book is complete. I will have a tool I can refer to, and that my instructors and students can use. If the concept of Shibui Found Image Art is to have momentum, it will come after the book is published. This requires patience, and the goal is to do it very well, and clearly. It means to continue collecting information, researching, and developing ideas.
I need more Shibuiest to obtain some of this information. So, a second problem to solve. I need to breathe more life into Shibui Found Image Art Live group. This group of artists is my control group, and being a control group means it is a developmental group where we can learn what others do with their Shibui. The group is on Facebook and because of this, it is an international group of people. It is a private group so anyone interested in learning more about Shibui can join by contacting me.
I have what I need to teach live, and hold zoom meetings. The plan is to hold active meetings once the instructional book is complete.
