Good Morning Sunshine!

Yes, the blizzard is here at last. I could have slept in but wondered about mail and possible book delivery. There are quite a few due me! (I ordered little Miss Harper’s for Valentine’s Day. Baby books are always fun to get.) Checked the Amazon order, says delivered. So, Yes! Mail has been delivered. A clever way to check, at least if you’re expecting something.
My morning rituals make me wonder about the morning rituals of other people. What do other people do, other than get up and head for the bathroom? Coffee of course, perhaps tea or cocoa? Something to go with them. Today? Perhaps parents can sleep in, and perhaps those scheduled school children do?
Routines are important. I rediscovered as I made changes after Tom died that it was better for me not to worry about a routine, such as climbing out at 8:00-8:30 am. Beginning work in earnest at 12:00 and ending at 8:00 works Unless I need time off.
Today’s cards. #1. There is nothing more important to true growth than realizing that you are not the voice of the mind___you are the one who hears it.β I love this one! This point in Michael A. Singer’s book is why I bought the cards! (The Untethered Soul). It made sense to me! He had said something like, these thoughts come up, but see them as just thoughts. Seeing these thoughts, as just thoughts change them, and you can even replace them with different thoughts. The fact is it’s just the mind predicting. I read about the mind predicting in the BBC Science Focus magazine. We, according to that article can simply train the mind to new things, and the new things come up as choice predictions the more as we do them. I am finding this true.
