Just in case I lose power tomorrow. When I wake up there will be plenty of snow, and wind, it will be the light fluffy stuff____a Blizzard they say! Well, ain’t nothing new! Those that snowmobile and ski, the kids will love it, and those who don’t_____well, they will put up with it because there isn’t a choice. As long as we don’t lose power “We will be snug as a bug in a rug!” I will put some music on, since the tree is still up, turn it on? Why not. A nice day for hot cocoa and books? Let it actually be a weekend? Why not!
I did the hair (washed it) in case there was no power. And will fill containers with water, so to flush the flush and wash the hands, drinking water. We don’t tend to lose it long. But ya never know. Have sandwich supplies at the ready, milk, some soda.
Merlock has decided he needs to be close if I am going to sit in the recliner to read. He kept pestering me but does not want to be picked up and held. So to solve this because I had an inkling how to fix it, I pulled the coffee table so the end is beside me and put his bed on top, now he is a very happy can. He just needs to be close all the time. This puts the couch and coffee table off-center, but he is happy.
Tonight was a shepherd’s pie night. If Alex gets hungry later he can have more. That’s the idea if he is up late doing one of those all-night games with his friends. I got him covered.
This is a chatty post by the feel of it. I suppose it’s me settling into a laid-back, it’s storm mode. My one disappointment? I have more books coming and I am thinking the Fed-X or UPS may not go out and about.
I can read more research material once some of them come in. Best wishes! Pejj
