Good Morning Sunshine! It is out there! Blue Skies!

Hello! And Good Morning!

It’s researching the topic of the mind today! Learning how it works during the creative process. If I can learn how the brain sends messages to the body I will be able to explain that part. What I know: When we do anything the brain communicates with the body. I want to know more about the pleasure center in the brain. I want to see if it’s mentioned to learn more about its role.

We often repeat what makes us feel good. We stick with these things longer. And the brain sends out messages, creates chemical reactions, and neurons fire up. The five senses come into play.

As a writer, when you talk about something you had best know what you’re talking about.

I am sure to learn more, but how much is applicable? Unless I research I won’t know. This is how it goes when you develop theories. In the end, I may come away with just a couple sentences of proof of what I am digging for. It may sum up to what I have said here about what I know.

My curiosity isn’t satisfied. I want to know how the mind responds to color. There is info on this. But what does it do when it reacts. I want to see that answer.

The mail has come and I received one of the several books ordered from Alibris! Selected Poems Of May Sarton. Now, I can add her to the poetry books, but not before reading some. I have been reading other books of hers, curiosity again rises up. We should always be curious! I loved reading Kinds Of Love as a young girl. I saw those kinds of people in my own life and noticed those kinds of love. I had been sorting out how to love. What is love?

I can see Sarton’s book will be fun to read! I am delighted! I am collecting more books? Yes___yes! I am. Not just about the mind. And me with room full already? Is this where I adopt what Tom’s father told him? “It’s not my problem when I am no longer here.” Will my treasure infuse someone else’s home or at best a library somewhere?

I wonder how others start their day if this is how I start mine. I also received my iodine (Kelp) capsules. I want to put more iodine into my diet. I am looking at what I eat, and work towards building a better immune system. I am reintroducing some forgotten foods, like cabbage, turnip, lima beans. The result is losing weight.

I live in Southern Maine. I am the owner of Anisette Studios. My website is https://www.anisettestudios.com/ Here you can view and purchase Shibui, sign up for my newsletters, blog, and read articles about Shibui Found Image Art. Patrons get great deals several times a year and special items at times. My site makes it easy to contact me. My primary art form is Shibui Found Image Art. Shibui begins with action art and stems from the imagination. It is like seeing something in the clouds or solving a puzzle. Its creative process has its own rules and requires what I call reverse engineering due to a lack of an understructure and purely out of the imagination. In addition to those who patron me, my target groups are those who use art therapy. I will soon be teaching live. Contact me if you would like to learn live. I use Zoom. I request that although my art, other images, and what I write is now published by me here on WordPress; I do ask you do not to use my artwork, poetry, or the information about Shibui Found Image Art without my permission. I am quite available to make such requests. I wish to share the following: The existentialist philosopher Simone de Beauvoir wrote a book called The Ethics of Ambiguity. In it, she lays out a guiding ethic in response to the philosophy of existentialism. It might be somewhat familiar to you already. She writes, “To will oneself free is also to will others free. This will is not an abstract formula. It points out to each person concrete action to be achieved.” Best wishes to all! Have good times and keep safe! Pejj
