Good Morning Everyone! Although morning may have passed as you come to this. It is black organic coffee made via beans today. Love freshly ground beans. Keeping to one cup. I treated myself to a slice of brown bread with raisins as the “muffin”. Now, to begin the day by putting some Jazz on!
It will be back to the Shibui manual today. My word for the day remains “consistency”. I have had to push myself some to get into the habit of this project. It is good to see progress as that fuels the fire. I feel resistance and have not come up with a reason for it when it is something I want to accomplish so badly. I will find a time to explore this when it’s time to journal. Why resistance? Is that really the feeling or am I keying in on how resistance feels and then in that giving it a connection to my project? Is this one of those thoughts then? My gut timidly says yes. That it has to be just a thought, that I can let go of, and just do the writing. Don’t overthink. Don’t let a thought become a feeling. LOL I think I should listen to myself today!
I got this! The success is there! Do the daily ritual and move forward!
Today I have pulled an extra card. #1. “What if consciousness were to remove its focus from your personal set of thoughts, your personal set of emotions, and your limited sensory input? Would you become untethered from the bonds of the personal self and be set free to explore beyond?” Wow! What questions! Then to sort this out: What is consciousness? Well, “Universally, consciousness is the state of being conscious and aware of oneself and things in the surroundings.” This is what you find when you the word up. So translated: What if my state of being aware of myself and my surroundings had no emotional focus? And I limited or perhaps calmed my antenna for sensing my world. This feels like a meditative mode. Like being present with one’s self where I am one with myself. #2 card. “When you feel pain simply view it as energy____ Let go and give room for the paint to pass through you.” #3. Card. ” The Tao is in the middle. It’s the place where there is no energy pushing in either direction.” I love this! #4 Card. True freedom is very close; it’s just on the other side of your walks.” Love this one too!
Have a great day! Lots of love and best wishes! Pejj
