One has to appreciate being inside when it is cold outdoors! It is days like this that feel good to be writing or working on art. I am going to opt for cocoa over peppermint tea and settle into something on the t.v. Although_____I have an audiobook I began and have no idea how far I heard it! It is a night like tonight I do miss Thomas. But today was a nice day as I have had a nice time with two friends, and sadly the friend I was watching for is sick this evening. You could say it was to be a day with friends! I will be thinking of my sick friend and will send healing thoughts her way. Julia, Dawn, and Alice are the kind of friends you simply love who they are.
It seems it is a night for rest. Perhaps to reflect on life, and my plans for Shibui, or to just be present.
Tomorrow I will think about the instructional manual for Shibui, and work on the manuscript. Tuesday all day long! Another cold day.
Tonight’s cards? “Enthusiasm, joy, and love: If you can feel that all the time, then who cares what happens outside? ” Do you suppose the cards knew about the cold? LOL #2 Card. “Would you like to go beyond yourself? Would you like to feel no edges?” I think I will say “Yes!” To this train of thought. I certainly do want to go beyond myself! And I don’t want to feel edges! No restraints for me when it comes to Writing or Shibui please! #3 Card. Spiritual energy is what you’re experiencing when you’re enthused by something and all this high energy comes up inside you.” It feels good to have this kind of excitement! Love to all and thank you! I am quite available to make such requests. I wish to share the following: The existentialist philosopher Simone de Beauvoir wrote a book called The Ethics of Ambiguity. In it, she lays out a guiding ethic in response to the philosophy of existentialism. It might be somewhat familiar to you already. She writes, “To will oneself free is also to will others free. This will is not an abstract formula. It points out to each person concrete action to be achieved.”
