It’s that time of year when people start thinking about resolutions, preparing to do differently this next year! I think however we do this, we should take some time with “whatever it is” and we should remember that if something does not work out, we can begin again.
There is something to be said about the idea of a learning curve. I think looking at life this way works better than being so hard on one’s self we come to believe or predict something is or will be a failure.
I came to realize this, this past year. I just need to be consistent. I remind myself of this conclusion.
This year it will be about a return to working in the studio, and writing the instructional book, then moving into teaching Shibui. These are the goals. These and working on physical health, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. These things seem enough.
I am in a good place. I love the work I do, and the dream I have. I have a focus. And when this year ends, there will be next year.
The tricky part is how to manage it, plan it out. break it down into parts. Set goals. Keep schedules. This is what works, as long as we all take time for ourselves and with family.
My days will be full days these next few months with writing. My mind is wondering what other people have for resolutions? What kind of success will January 2023 find me with.
I wish all a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR! BEST WISHES!!!!!
