Good Morning Sunshine! Today???

I managed to get pictures of this hawk a couple times. What a beauty! Wonder where it sits or hunts today?

Today is the 10th of December, and I am looking at what needs to be done before Christmas. I will make it, just need to begin. Take that time to clear and clean, tuck away the things left out from working. Looks like an overcast day today, time to make my own sunshine! But first, make some coffee, take the morning meds, and fall into the day.

I began today by staying in bed a bit longer listening to poetry being read on audible, a book called Power in Poetry, there were several poets who read all poems wonderfully powerful! And I think, I will re-listen to this and other books to learn that voice, and give it a go! I think it’s been a while since I have read poems. And then I think I like listening better as it reminds me of when I was a child and the teachers read us poems. And taught us how to write them. What I love about writing poems is the use of words to express concisely what I want to say. The power of words via their meanings. The music of those words as you read out loud.

Listening to stories is as wonderful with a good reader. I think by listening to books I am learning to listen better. Listening and really hearing what is said is important.

There! I am my clothes for the day. Waiting for the mail, and listening to Merlock meow, calling something____listening as cars and trucks stop to drop off trash at the end of Maxine Lane. Thinking, I suppose I need to take mine out. And the day begins, once I have combed out my hair.

I find myself wondering about how the day begins for other people. What is their daily ritual? I envision a few scenarios. I think of older authors, poets today and wonder what their days were like. What makes a day productive? What do you think about, and what do you manage to write about? Whatever fodder you take in that feeds the source. Yes, of course.

This trip to get the coffee, and for some papertowel____I see that Merlock had a great deal of fun! The toy mice are everywhere, one was by the bedroom door, the squirrel is even out! Ricky the raccoon too. So that is why he is meowing? I am to tell him he is good for getting all the mice! Cats pretend. They must! To walk by their toys as if they are not there and then pounce on them in a flash! The poor snake seems forgotten I will have to pull it out so it is seen.

And begin writing on the instructional manual. It is growing. It is being finessed to say what it needs to say. I have a lot of the ideas pulled together in presentations.

May your day be running well! May all fall into line, with battles won! The bunny for Miss Harper has come, so one present more! The cat is frisky playing, Does this mean a snowstorm is coming?

I live in Southern Maine. I am the owner of Anisette Studios. My website is https://www.anisettestudios.com/ Here you can view and purchase Shibui, sign up for my newsletters, blog, and read articles about Shibui Found Image Art. Patrons get great deals several times a year and special items at times. My site makes it easy to contact me. My primary art form is Shibui Found Image Art. Shibui begins with action art and stems from the imagination. It is like seeing something in the clouds or solving a puzzle. Its creative process has its own rules and requires what I call reverse engineering due to a lack of an understructure and purely out of the imagination. In addition to those who patron me, my target groups are those who use art therapy. I will soon be teaching live. Contact me if you would like to learn live. I use Zoom. I request that although my art, other images, and what I write is now published by me here on WordPress; I do ask you do not to use my artwork, poetry, or the information about Shibui Found Image Art without my permission. I am quite available to make such requests. I wish to share the following: The existentialist philosopher Simone de Beauvoir wrote a book called The Ethics of Ambiguity. In it, she lays out a guiding ethic in response to the philosophy of existentialism. It might be somewhat familiar to you already. She writes, “To will oneself free is also to will others free. This will is not an abstract formula. It points out to each person concrete action to be achieved.” Best wishes to all! Have good times and keep safe! Pejj
