Good morning Sunshine
Good morning! A Bright sunny Sunday. I have climbed out late, is that not what Sundays are for? And for us to see the wonder in the day? What does that mean? When I was a new mother it was the wonder on my children’s faces I loved to catch, now it’s the wonder on grandchildren’s faces. But it can be seen in other things if we look close enough or well simply look!
Even now with the leaves mostly fallen from the trees, they lay on the ground to be marveled at there. Their beauty is not lost, who has not picked up a particular beautiful leaf, and perhaps kept it? Winter birds are coming, and others go. The geese fly to land near ponds and have their rest. Nature is full of wonder.
There is a wonder in books and music too. Wrapped into a soft blanket, a nice sweater with hot coffee or cocoa, a great book that gives you a trill or food for thought. A book whose author wrote so cleverly it was not easy to be sucked in. How about that music? Soft classical? Favorites? I love a good saxophone!
Whatever it is you marvel at, may it wiggle its way into your day. I marvel at feeling good, the peacefulness of my heart when it is not saddened. I marvel at want I have accomplished. And I wonder how I did all I have managed. It adds up, and I feel good. This tells me there is a wonder in watching myself grow and become.
