Good Morning Sunshine! Love of Life Transcends much!

My lovely supportive daughter Jacobie, (And I have her crew! my grandbabies, and a great grandbaby!) They mean the world to me! It would have been very hard this past year without Jacobie. Thank you, darling!

“Love transcends time and space and circumstance and allows us the privilege of drawing near to those we care so much about___.”

“When you are tired of it all and nothing seems worth the time and trouble___remember it isn’t that you do not want life anymore___it is simply that you need more of life___more of it and of a far better quality. ____Everyone has felt sick, left out, overcome by age and weariness or circumstance___no one ever travels a route alone___but only those who persist in despair give up___and those who change their minds and reach out in giving and loving and respect find a sure path beneath their feet___and then, they find doors opening to them that they did not know existed!” Joyce Hifler, Pathways.

Grief no matter whether it is a loss of someone or if there are other reasons to feel as you do. We grieve many more things, and it’s all according to what it is. This time it’s been about Tom, but I still recall other people and other experiences that have made me feel despair and depression. But in the back of my mind, or perhaps in my gut I have this fire that burns, and it’s a love for life! And the people I care about. I recognize I need “more of life” and it is what will pull me into living more fully. My confidence and comfort can come from knowing how loved I was by Thomas. I may not know what happens in the future but I am the one to find the adventure now. There will be people along the way so it won’t be a lonely adventure. There is hope in what is good. There are things to embrace, and love. Life will be what I make it to be.

I live in Southern Maine. I am the owner of Anisette Studios. My website is https://www.anisettestudios.com/ Here you can view and purchase Shibui, sign up for my newsletters, blog, and read articles about Shibui Found Image Art. Patrons get great deals several times a year and special items at times. My site makes it easy to contact me. My primary art form is Shibui Found Image Art. Shibui begins with action art and stems from the imagination. It is like seeing something in the clouds or solving a puzzle. Its creative process has its own rules and requires what I call reverse engineering due to a lack of an understructure and purely out of the imagination. In addition to those who patron me, my target groups are those who use art therapy. I will soon be teaching live. Contact me if you would like to learn live. I use Zoom. I request that although my art, other images, and what I write is now published by me here on WordPress; I do ask you do not to use my artwork, poetry, or the information about Shibui Found Image Art without my permission. I am quite available to make such requests. I wish to share the following: The existentialist philosopher Simone de Beauvoir wrote a book called The Ethics of Ambiguity. In it, she lays out a guiding ethic in response to the philosophy of existentialism. It might be somewhat familiar to you already. She writes, “To will oneself free is also to will others free. This will is not an abstract formula. It points out to each person concrete action to be achieved.” Best wishes to all! Have good times and keep safe! Pejj

    1. Sounds good! I love Joyce Hifler’s books. They echo how I feel about many things. I think something has shifted for the better, I feel lighter, I feel I can handle being hit by emotions, I have not melted away yet! I am being called to do the things I love. That is good! I am excited about the Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance. I joined them. They have events, etc. I love to write and it will help me with several projects to improve on writing skills. Have those challenges. Thanks for the nice compliment. Pejj
